  • Archaeological Sites

  • Free Hanging Rappels

Approach (1-2 hours+): From the parking area locate a social trail on the left side of the tank that leads to the main wash. Follow the main wash to the turn off on the left. Take a brush choked gully up to the start of the white rock layer before traversing over to the start of Windtalker.

Exit (Less than 1 hour): Follow the brushy drainage down to the main wash. Take a right into the main wash and return the way you came.

Link Up’s: The obvious link up for Windtalker would be Magic, although I’ve combined this route with Hang Em High and really enjoyed it.

Weather: During wet or icy conditions the approach for Windtalker and Magic will present additional risk & challenges.

Preservation: Please respect the sensitive terrain and archaeological sites along your journey.
